I was looking at the forecast for Wednesday and look what I saw:

D6: Wed, Jul 04, 2007 – Thu, Jul 05, 2007

The Storm Prediction Center has an outlook for Day 6 (the 4th of July).

The NWS office out of Gaylord still has a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms. This is most likely due to the fact that the sixth day of the forecast is less likely to verify than say tomorrow. The SPC graphic is experimental and as I have said before in past posts, the forecast for day 6 may change several times before we get something usable. With that said stay tuned for future updates, either from me or from the links to the right. I guess the fireworks aren’t safe yet. Although, I saw that Gaylord’s fireworks are on the 7th.
