NWS Gaylord, MI Weather Story
I scanned over the HPC Graphics today and it is looking interesting. The interesting part looks like it will happen before the weekend. The weekend itself looks great. As the Weather story graphic from NWS Gaylord shows, there will be a strong storm that will come through the western Great Lakes. Since we are getting close to March, warmer air is trying to make a return and so we could have some rain mix in with the snow. Of course, we will have to watch the track of the storm as it will be crucial to not only the amount of precipitation, but the type of precipitation as well. With something like this, I will try to keep the twitter feed a little more active, once I issue the forecast on Wednesday night or Thursday.
However, for the weekend, It is looking nice. High pressure settles in over the Great Lakes. It looks like the start of the weekend will again be chilly, but on a whole it is looking cool and sunny for most of the weekend.
As an added aside, those going to the Big Ticket Festival Tour in Grand Rapids on Saturday, it is looking good for going there this weekend as well.
